We have commissioned new 300mm-capable process equipment for thin-film deposition, DRIE etching, and wafer reclaim — extending our service portfolio from 200mm to fully cover the 300mm substrate market. This investment addresses growing customer demand from advanced packaging and silicon photonics customers operating at 300mm.
We have installed a new plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition (PE-ALD) system capable of depositing Al₂O₃, HfO₂, ZrO₂, TiO₂, and Ta₂O₅ films with sub-angstrom thickness control. This capability supports advanced CMOS gate stacks, III-V surface passivation, and high-aspect-ratio TSV liner deposition.
GINECHIP has successfully completed the ISO 9001:2015 recertification audit with an expanded scope that now includes all process services — etching, bonding, lithography, deposition, wafer reclaim, and substrate supply. The certification covers our full product and service portfolio.
We have established a strategic supply agreement with a top-tier 4H-SiC crystal grower, securing preferential access to 150mm and 200mm SiC substrates with guaranteed micropipe densities below 0.1/cm². This partnership ensures stable supply for our power electronics customers through 2026.
GINECHIP introduced a complete line of pre-coated semiconductor substrates — thermal SiO₂, LPCVD Si₃N₄, PECVD dielectrics, ALD films, sputtered metals, and TCO coatings. These substrates enable customers to start their process from a known-good coated wafer, reducing their in-house deposition tool loading.
We have launched a dedicated R&D prototyping service tier with low minimum order quantities, academic pricing, and technical consultation included. Now supporting over 50 university research groups and startup companies worldwide with substrate supply and process services for MEMS, photonics, and power device research.
